"Brothers and sisters, fill your minds with whatever is good and true, whatever is pure, whatever is noble and right, whatever is lovely, whatever is honorable and admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things. Put them into practice, and God -who gives us peace- will be with you." (Philippians 4:8)

"Thanks for the Gift: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13)

We must train our minds to think upon these positive and peaceful things. We must keep our minds protected, because the devil could take advantage of those vulnerable ones.

"When it comes to choices, I choose LOVE."

"When it comes to choices, I choose LOVE."

This topic has been shared with me. So, I would like to share it with you today.
So many roads, so many choices, and it seems like I have chosen them all in this short life.
Sometimes, I have chosen pain. I chose to let it sting me like the barbs of a nettle or an old wire fence. I chose to bleed. I chose to let the CD player of my mind run on one track all day, trying to hurt away the hurt.
Many times I chose fear, chose to shrink away from the world cloaked only in thoughts of disapproval, of not being good enough.
But today, I have no time for pain. I have no time for fear. Don´t get me wrong!! It´s not because there are not things to hurt about or people who will disapprove. But because I know now, that there is always another road. A road which I would much rather walk.
So today, I choose peace. I choose to not judge the world, the people in it or the things that happen to me as good or bad. But simply to know that on a far deeper level than I can ever be aware, I am safe. I am held, and I am worthy.
I choose to honour my body. Not only with good food, mindful eating and exercise. But also to remember that we are sensual beings. I´ll comfort my eyes by finding something beautiful in each thing I see. I´ll caress the world with my hands, embrace it with my mind.
And throughout this day, I´ll continue to make affirming choices.
I choose to dance, to let joy take me over completely and not worry for one moment about the ones who might see or judge.
I choose to breathe. I choose to breathe life in and let it breathe me in.
I choose to laugh, loud and long. At the world but mostly at myself for all the times I have taken life so seriously.
And most of all, I CHOOSE LOVE. I choose to love myself. I choose to let friends become my love. And when I walk into the world and see discord, I´ll look harder. I´ll look for beauty. I´ll look for peace, and I´ll find it. But when I meet hatred, I´ll open my heart so wide and let the sea of my love wash over it until it melts away.
And when I see a man, woman or child in pain, I shall use my life´s energy to bring whatever healing I could give. If I can´t heal their pain, I´ll kneel down and wash their feet for their comfort.
Today is a new day, and I CHOOSE LOVE.

TODAY´S PRAYER.

TODAY´S PRAYER.

I´ll include this awesome prayer to thank our dear Lord Jesus, for all His blessings and for a new day of life.

Dear Lord, Jesus Christ,

I thank You for this day, I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I am blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me. Please, forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to You.

I ask now for Your forgiveness. Please, keep me safe from all danger and harm, sweet Lord Jesus. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You. Please, broaden my mind that I can accept all things. Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over, and give me the best response when I am pushed beyond my limits.

I know that when I can´t pray, You listen to my heart. Please, continue to use me as Your instrument to do Your will, Lord. Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Please, keep me strong that I may help the weak... Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others who may need me.

I pray for those that are lost and can´t find their way. I pray for those that are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those who don´t know You intimately. I pray for those that will ignore the sharing of this prayer. I pray for those who don´t believe. But, I thank You that I believe that God changes people and God changes things.

I pray for all my sisters and brothers in Christ, for each and every family member in their households. I pray for peace, health, love and joy in their homes; that they are out of debt and all their needs are met.

I pray that every eye that reads this prayer knows that there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God. Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight, dear Lord.

I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees it.

In Jesus´most Holy Name, I pray. AMEN.

Dear Lord and Heavenly Father,
I love You and I need You!!
Please, come into my life and heart!! AMEN.

HOPE.

HOPE.

Bible Verse. (Romans 15:13)

"May God, the source of hope, fill you with all joy and peace by means of your faith in Him, so that your hope will continue to grow by the power of the Holy Spirit."

To be hopeful in bad times is not just foolishly romantic. It is based on the fact that human history is a history not only of cruelty, but also of compassion, sacrifice, courage, kindness and so on. What we choose to emphasize in this complex history will determine our lives. If we see only the worst, it will destroy our capacity to do something. If we remember those times and places where people have behaved magnificently, this will give us the energy to act, and at least the possibility of sending this spinning top of a word in a different direction. And if we do act, however, in a small way, we won´t have to wait for some grand utopian future.

The future is an infinite succession of presents, and to live now as we think human beings should live, in defiance of all that is bad around us, it´s itself a marvelous victory.

Do not ever lose hope!!!...

Look not mournfully into the past, for it won´t come back again. Wisely improve the present, and go forward to meet the shadowy future without fear.

Life is the ultimate adventure because in the jungles of time and space, our thougths become things and dreams do come true. There will always be challenges that have manifested, and dreams that haven´t. But they´ll always pale in comparisson to the number of dreams that have manifested, and challenges that haven´t.

I learned the most important lesson of my life that the extraordinary is not the birthright of a chosen and privileged few, but of all people, even the humblest. That is my one certainty: we are all the manifestation of the divinity of God.

Don´t be afraid to do what is right, especially when the welfare of a person or an animal is at stake. The punishment of our society is small compared to the wounds we inflict upon our soul when we look the other way.

TODAY´S PRAYER.

Dear God, forgive me!!

I walk on space, on air so thin, I fear to fall.

Dear God, forgive me for my fear to love, for being so small in a world so big. Please, dear Lord, forgive me for not wanting pain, for seeing it first before joy. I know, sweet Lord, I shouldn´t look first at how easily I bruise or harden my shell to an outside touch, or hide within myself, or stare with dead eyes.

Dear God, please forgive my fear of reaching out over empty spaces, for taking all the love you give and giving nothing in return.

When next I shy, nudge me to try; when next I sigh, nudge me to smile; when next love needs, steady my feet that I may be here to brave my fear.

On the Altar, I leave my prayers. In Jesus´most Holy Name, I pray. AMEN.

"Faith Can Move Mountains."

"Faith Can Move Mountains."

As life goes on, we may feel discouraged and frustrated at times, when things are always going wrong and not the way we have expected it. Some people still dwell in the past that it may seem better than today. Some folks may have their expectations in a better future. However, we only have this day, today. We should make the best of it, if you have faith!!

Faith can move mountains, if you trust that you can make a real difference for yourself and for others by contributing with positive things for a better and more prospective aspects in your life towards the future. We all know that life is not a bed of roses, it could be a bed of thorns instead. God did not promise that all will be perfect.

If you have faith and trust the Lord with all your heart, you will be able to see the light that God has set for your life as His plan for you. It is a saying that faith can move mountains.

It is true that God may bless you today with discomfort at easy answers, half truths, superficial relationships, so that you will live deep within your heart.

It is also true that God may bless you today with anger at injustice, oppression and exploitation, so that you will work for justice, equality and peace.

God may bless you today with tears to shed for those who suffer from pain, rejection, starvation and war, so that you will reach out your hand to comfort them and change their pain into joy.

And God may also bless you today with the foolishness to think that you can make a difference in the world, so that you will do the things which others tell you that they cannot be done.

Seek for the light that the Lord has set up for you and follow His plan in your life. There is so much that you could do TODAY with your generose heart, if you expect nothing in return.

There are two days about which we should not worry, and they should be kept from fear and aprehension. One of these days is YESTERDAY with all its mistakes and cares, its faults and blunders, its aches and pains. Yesterday has passed forever beyond our control. All the money in the world cannot bring back yesterday.

We cannot undo a single act we performed; we cannot erase a single word we said. Yesterday is gone forever.

The other day we should not worry about is TOMORROW with all its possible adversities, its burdens, its large promise and its poor performance; tomorrow is also beyond our immediate control. Tomorrow´s sun will rise, either in splendor or behing a mask of clouds, but it will rise.

Until it does, we have no stake in tomorrow, for it is yet to be born.

This leaves only one day, TODAY. Any person can fight the battle of just one day. It is when you and I add the burdens of those two awful eternities Yesterday and Tomorrow that we break down. It is not the experience of Today that drives a person mad, it is the remorse or bitterness of something which happened Yesterday and the dread of what Tomorrow may bring.

LET US, THEREFORE, LIVE ONE DAY AT A TIME.

I´ll include some Scriptures related with the fact that FAITH CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS. This is the message for today...

"JESUS APPEARS TO HIS DISCIPLES." (Luke 24: 36-49)

While the two were telling them this, suddenly the Lord himself stood among them and said to them, "Peace be with you."

They were terrified, thinking that they were seeing a ghost. But he said to them, "Why are you alarmed? Why are these doubts coming up in your minds? Look at my hands and my feet, and see that it is I myself. Feel me, and you will know, for a ghost doesn´t have flesh and bones, as you can see I have."

He said this and showed them his hands and his feet. They sill could not believe, they were so full of joy and wonder; so he asked them, "Have you anything here to eat?" They gave him a piece of cooked fish, which he took and ate in their presence.
Then he said to them, "These are the very things I told you about while I was still with you: everything written about me in the Law of Moses, the writings of the prophets, and the Psalms had to come true."
Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, and said to them, "This is what is written: the Messiah must suffer and must rise from death three days later, and in his name the message about repentance and the forgiveness of sins must be preached to all nations, beginning in Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. And I myself will send upon you what my Father has promised. But you must wait in the city until the power from above comes down upon you."
"Jesus is taken Up to Heaven." (Luke 24: 50-53)
Then he led them out of the city as far as Bethany, where he raised his hands and blessed them. As he was blessing them, he departed from them and was taken up into Heaven. They workshipped him and went back into Jerusalem, filled with great joy, and spent all their time in the Temple giving thanks to God.
FAITH CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS, IF YOU BELIEVE.
