"Don't let them break your spirit!! Wear the Armour of God."

Evil forces may want to break your spirit in your daily struggling for survival. Don't let that to happen!! Your spirit must be stronger than your body. Do not ever give up on our dear Lord, Jesus Christ, our Savior!! He said, it was not going to be easy, but it would be worth it...

We all encounter in our daily lives the perception of evil spirits whose desires are to bring confusion, to kill our self-esteem, break our hearts, demolish our strength, bury our hope, destroy our dreams for a better future, and so on...

Don't let that to happen!! Build up your strength in union with the Lord and by means of His mighty power. You must be stronger than them, and your strength is coming from our Mighty God. I can easily detect an evil heart, for it does not bear good fruits. It may come in different forms or sources, either by vulgar talk, bad habits, crimes or bad sins that may offend God so deeply. Don't let the devil devour your heart and spirit!!...Do not let the devil fool you with its evil tricks!!...

Remember how Jesus endured pain. Remember how badly our dear Lord, Jesus was treated, tortured and killed by evil doers. Jesus' spirit and faith were never broken, for His Heavenly Father was His only strength, fortress and rock of salvation.

The Scriptures tell us great wisdom in the following Bible verses:

"The Whole Armour of God." (Ephesians 6: 10-20)

"Finally, build up your strength in union with the Lord and by means of his mighty power. Put on all the armour that God gives you, so that you will be able to stand up against the devil's evil tricks. For we are not fighting against human beings, but against the wicked spiritual forces in the heavenly world, the rulers, authorities, and cosmic powers of this dark age. So put on God's armour now!! Then when the evil day comes, you will be able to resist the enemy's attacks; and after fighting to the end, you will still hold your ground.

So stand ready, with truth as a belt tight round your waist, with righteousness as your breastplate, and as your shoes the readiness to announce the Good News of peace. At all times carry faith as a shield; for with it you will be able to put out all the burning arrows shot by the evil one. And accept salvation as a helmet, and the word of God as the sword which the Spirit gives you. Do all this in prayer, asking for God's help. Pray on every occasion, as the Spirit leads. For this reason keep alert and never give up; pray always for all God's people. And pray also for me, that God will give me a message when I am ready to speak, so that I may speak boldly and make known the gospel's secret. For the sake of this gospel I am an ambassador, though now I am in prison. Pray that I may be bold in speaking about the gospel as I should."

These are the words of the Lord. AMEN.

"Improve One Little Corner at a Time."

When God leads you to the edge of the cliff, trust Him and let go. Only one of two things will happen, either He'll catch you when you fall, or He'll teach you how to fly.

There is an old saying: "If harsh situations don't kill you, they will make you stronger."

God is going to shift things around for you this day, and let things work in your favor. However, do not ask God to lead your way, if you are not willing to move your footsteps.

One little corner that you can improve each day, go ahead, and make that difference. Something wonderful will happen: the feeling and experience of reaching your goal and achievement.

To achieve great things require a modest effort repeated again and again. One little corner, one little step, one little inch after another at a time could make a major impact: the wondrous miracle of your life. Start right now, by improving one little corner, and you are on your way to change the world, to transform your own world for the better.

God's love is everywhere!! If we take the time to look around us, we'll see beautiful birds, flowers, mother nature and so on. We don't have to look far to see the miracles of life. God's clothes, the grass of the field... Let life come!! The richness of life is all around you. Drop your shallow pretenses and find in the Angels of God whisper good news after all!

There is much wisdom for you to discover in the every day life. Dive into your deepest feelings. The message is surely filled with rich meaning to teach you, for instance a dance of profound proportions, the power to change yourself for the better. Observe and explore all that is happening in your world. God is your Savior and the source of your existence.

You...lovingly watch the motion, listen to the music of your heart, and take note of how it makes you feel. Let life work its magic on you!!

Dear Lord,

We come before You in humble prayers to the desperate eyes and reaching hands, to the suffering and the lean, to the ones the world has cast aside, and where You want me, I will be.

I will go, Lord. Send me, please. I am hungry to serve You most deeply, dear Lord Jesus.

Let me not be blind with privilege, give me eyes to see the pain, let me see the wisdom inside things of an every day life, let the blessings You have poured out on me not be spent in vain, let this life be used for a change for the better. In Jesus' name, we pray. AMEN.

Only Survivor of a Shipwreck.

The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small, uninhabited island. He prayed feverishly for God to rescue him. Every day he scanned the horizon for help, but none seemed forthcoming. Exhausted, he eventually managed to build a little hut out of driftwood to protect himself from the elements, and to store his few possessions.

One day, after scavenging for food, he arrived home to find his little hut in flames, with smoke rolling up to the sky. He felt the worst had happened, and everything was lost. He was stunned with disbelief, grief and anger. He cried out, God!! How could You do this to me??...

Early the next day, he was awakened by the sound of a ship approaching the island. It had come to rescue him!!

How did you know I was here?, asked the weary man to his rescuers.

We saw your smoke signal, they replied.

The Moral of This Short Story: It's easy to get discouraged when things are going bad, but we shouldn't lose heart, because God is at work in our lives, even in the midst of our pain and suffering. Remember that the next time your little hut seems to be burning to the ground, it just may be a smoke signal that summons the Grace of God who is coming to your rescue.

Dear Lord,

We pray for those who feel adrift, unloved, lost, lonely, isolated, unwanted, unprotected, abandoned and forgotten. We love You, dear Lord Jesus, we need You!! We can't really make it on our own. Without You, we are nothing but dust in the wind. Please Lord, show them the way. Embrace into Your loving arms those souls who feel adrift, so unloved, so lonely and forgotten, and let them feel Your Holy presence and Your Heavenly love, so that they will never feel adrift, lost, abandoned, unwanted or lonely again.

Welcome to a brand new day to one and all!!

The Lord raised me up to the top of the mountains, to places that I thought I would never reach. I am a humble servant of our dear Lord. He is an amazing Lord.

Something about me that you may like to know...

My soul, an expression of virtue, the soothing music of the field, a balm in a raging deep blue sea, and the joy brought by the morning herald, would like to share with you, the wondrous news of this day.

I am Starry Dawn, a concerned American Christian, mature woman, a loving mother and a proud grandmother. I love my dear family so much. Long ago, I used to have wonderful jobs in my life. Now, I am an aging baby boomer with health issues, yet I write poems, stories and other deep expressions of my heart, so that I should let my inner poetical muse go, elevate one's spirit to another dimension, and reach into people's hearts worldwide. I had overcome the hardships of life, for God showed me the way.

In the morning, I walk out of the house to my beautiful garden of plants, and pray in the open air gazing at the sky. Absorbing the sunlight, inhaling God's presence and the beauty of the new day, I claim the blessings of the incoming hours. I give thanks to God in all circumstances. Then, I come back home and start writing. I write my prayers, my songs, my reflections, thoughts, my poems and stories, and so on. When I do this, I feel God's presence in a very palpable way. God created me in this way with high goals and moral values. Writing is my prayer language, my way of communication to the world, and the language of my heart.

One of the worst things that could happen to a person is to have an amputated spirit, which may lead to an amputated or stolen future. Freedom of will is the key of a successful life.

I love the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior with all my heart. He shows me the way in all I do. I also love animals, the rhythmical heartbeats of wildlife and our natural environment. These are just the beginning of my point of interests.

Please, take some of your precious time, sit back, relax, enjoy reading and basking in the beauty of poetry and inspirational reflections. May you hear God's voice in your heart, know His touch in your life, and feel His unconditional love each day. May the grace and peace of the Lord be with you always.
