"Brothers and sisters, fill your minds with whatever is good and true, whatever is pure, whatever is noble and right, whatever is lovely, whatever is honorable and admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things. Put them into practice, and God -who gives us peace- will be with you." (Philippians 4:8)

"Thanks for the Gift: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13)

We must train our minds to think upon these positive and peaceful things. We must keep our minds protected, because the devil could take advantage of those vulnerable ones.

The Armour of God.




I am preparing myself for my second attempt to go to New York for my dear family reunion. I must defend myself from the devil´s evil tricks who had tried to stop me many times to fulfill God´s plan in my life. If that is God´s will, I´ll soon board an evening flight of American Airlines. I should confess that I am a little scared about flying after all the going ons. My first attempt was rather discouraging, for the plane broke down up in the sky and the pilot would have to make an emergency landing. All passangers and the crew returned to the port of departure making delays to our journey. I mentioned to my Christian On-Line friends what had happened to us and my being scared in my life, and a lovely Christian Cyber friend came to me for my spiritual rescue and gave me plenty of advice how to build up strength against the devil´s tricks, work and path of destruction. She told me to read a very important passage in the Bible, so I did. It is written in Ephesians 6: 10-20.

It is called: "The Whole Armour of God."

"Finally, build up your strength in union with the Lord and by means of His mighty power. Put on all the armour that God gives you, so that you will be able to stand up against the devil´s evil tricks. For we are not fighting against human beings but against the wicked spiritual forces in the heavenly world, the rulers, authorities, and cosmic powers of this dark age. So, put on God´s Armour now!! Then when the evil day comes, you will be able to resist the enemy´s attacks; and after fighting to the end, you will still hold your ground.
So stand ready, with truth as a belt tight round your waist, with righteousness as your breastplate, and as your shoes the readiness to announce the Good News of Peace. At all times carry faith as a shield; for with it you will be able to put out all the burning arrows shot by the evil ones. And accept salvation as a helmet, and the word of God as the sword which the Spirit gives you. Do all this in prayer, asking for God´s help. Pray on every occasion, as the Spirit leads. For this reason keep alert and never give up; pray always for all God´s people. And pray also for me, that God will give me a message when I am ready to speak, so that I may speak boldly and make known the gospel´s secret. For the sake of this gospel I am an ambassador, though now I am in prison. Pray that I may be bold in speaking about the gospel as I should."
These are the words of the Lord. AMEN.
Let us pray...
May God, the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give to all Christian brothers and sisters grace, peace and love with faith. May God´s grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ with undying love. May our dear Lord with His mighty power give me His strength to carry on with His plan for me in this world with an integrity not only in my body but also in my heart of hearts.
So, help me Lord!! We serve an awesome God. Thank You, dear Lord for another day in Your love, and for listening to our prayers!!
