"The Awaking with Roses."
Good Morning!!
Good Morning!!
There will be a time in your life when you finally get in the midst of your fears, and somewhere the voice inside your head will cry out...
Enough of weeping and struggling to hold on!
Then, like a child quieting down after a tantrum, you blink back your tears, and begin to look at the world through new eyes...
"THIS IS YOUR AWAKING."
You'll realize it is about time to stop hoping and waiting for something to change, or for happiness, safety and security to magically show up over the next horizon. You'll realize that there aren't always a fairy tale ending in the real world, neither guarantee of "a happily ever after", so it must begin with you. Within the process, a sense of serenity will be born of acceptance.
You awaken to the fact that you are NOT PERFECT, not everyone will always love, appreciate or approve of who or what you are. That is OK. They are entitled to their own personal views and opinions, just like you have your own points of view...
You'll learn the importance of loving and championing yourself.
Within the process, a sense of new found confidence and self-esteem will be born of self-approval.
You stop complaining and blaming other people for the things they did to you, or did not do for you. You'll learn the only thing you can really count on is the unexpected. Trust in yourself, for you can do it!
You'll learn that people do not always say what they mean, or mean what they say. Not everyone will always be there for you with positive thoughts or good news, and everything is not always about you.
So, you'll learn to stand on your own feet, and take good care of yourself. Give yourself a good hug, and begin to think about your good spiritual and physical health. Then, within the process, a sense of safety and security will be born of self-reliance. This is your awaking...
You stop judging and pointing fingers to others. You certainly do NOT know if they are struggling for one thing or another. Perhaps, they are fighting some kind of battle.
DO NOT JUDGE!
God will be the One who will Judge each of us
at the end of our times.
Then, you'll begin to accept people as they are, and to overlook their shortcomings and human frailties. Within the process, a sense of peace and contentment will be born of forgiveness.
You'll learn to open up to new worlds and different points of view. You'll begin reassessing and redefining who you are, and what you really stand for.
You'll learn the difference between wanting and needing.
God bless! Peace be with you!

I try very hard not to judge people, it is not always easy but I do try most of the time and I think I mostly succeed
Oh! Thank you, Jo-Anne for caring to read and say nice things!
God bless you, darling!

Many important points here, but one of my favorite is the part about not judging. It is a viewpoint I think about every single day. You just don't know what someone else has been through in their life, or in their day, or even in the last hour.
Hi Lisa,
Thanks for sharing your point of view! I am happy to receive heartfelt comments from my online friends. So, welcome aboard at anytime, sweetheart!
I am glad that you agree with me about NOT JUDGING...
We never know when one is going through in their normal life.
Actually, I was talking about a normal, average kind of life. I was not talking about evil doers, or criminals in jail whom they were already judged by greater authorities. God is the ultimate Judge, at the end of our times.
I send all my loving on your way, your children, family and beloved ones, Lisa. You are a super friend.
Greetings from Poet Starry.
Well, in my previous post, I meant we never know what sort of problem or issue a person is going through at some given point in time...
I have corrected myself.
I hate when I make mistakes...
What an awesome post. Loved it! Life is quite an adventure. It's not always pleasant but is never boring. One of my life lessons, the one that helped me the most was to always see myself in others. It really helps to remember that we're all kindred spirits, much more alike than most people realize- or perhaps not wish to admit. Hope your weekend was a wonderful one.
God bless you.
