"Brothers and sisters, fill your minds with whatever is good and true, whatever is pure, whatever is noble and right, whatever is lovely, whatever is honorable and admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things. Put them into practice, and God -who gives us peace- will be with you." (Philippians 4:8)

"Thanks for the Gift: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13)

We must train our minds to think upon these positive and peaceful things. We must keep our minds protected, because the devil could take advantage of those vulnerable ones.

"Only You, Lord. You are my only Lord, Jesus"

"Only You, Lord. You are my only Lord, Jesus"

The weight of sins is too heavy to carry alone. That kind of weight has made my cross even heavier when I think about it. My Lord was willing to sustain me, to help me carry the burden of my heavy loads. Looking back, I recall old memories of the rainbow bridge which was not too far from my own view point. I desperately wanted to cross the bridge to release the burden of my own cross, so that I could be free at last. How selfish I have been thinking only in myself!! Jesus was a giver rather than a taker. You see, Jesus gave His own life as a living sacrifice to save the world from sins. Yet, many people nowadays are too worried to fulfill their feeble mortal flesh, the material appetite for material things, instead of nourishing their spirit with spiritual food and water for the soul. The spirit needs to be fed with rich nutrients, vitamins for the soul.
Just look at Jesus' eyes... What do you see there?? Jesus suffered a great deal for us, His ultimate sacrifice was the best evidence of His unconditional love for human mankind. I wrote a prayer-poem long ago. It tells about one of my conversations with the Lord. I wish to share this inspirational prayer-poem with you this day. I called it:

"Only You, Lord!!"

What is it Lord, that has made You pause and consider me?...

What have I got to make You look at me?...

What is it, my Lord, that makes You spend all Winter nights

In my bosom covered by dew?...

It was only You, who saved my vessels from bleeding to death;

Only You, who led me to days of rest,

And prepared my empty table with plenty of food and bread;

It was only You, who rescued me from the cold,

Gave me a blanket to hold, and kept me warm in the storm.

Shred of clouds like visible vineyards

Are painted in the evening sky.

The scent of rain reminds me of tears I've shed.

Scared like a lamb to the slaughter, I once felt.

Only You, Lord saved me, and to safety, I was led.

Why did You save me? I wonder. Am I worthy to You?...

What will I give You -for Your goodness- in return?...

Oh, my sweet Lord! I shall give You all my life,

And all my love like a flame that it'll always burn.

(((I LOVE YOU, DEAR LORD JESUS!!)))

Hi Starry Dawn,
Jesus sure did suffer a great deal for us and I am so humbled and awed at what He did. He is my LORD too, and I am so very proud in Him.

Sometimes, when we keep carrying our sins, it is like nailing Jesus to the cross again and again. When I realized that I was doing this I stopped and just laid it all at His feet.

Thanks for sharing sister,
