"Brothers and sisters, fill your minds with whatever is good and true, whatever is pure, whatever is noble and right, whatever is lovely, whatever is honorable and admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things. Put them into practice, and God -who gives us peace- will be with you." (Philippians 4:8)

"Thanks for the Gift: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13)

We must train our minds to think upon these positive and peaceful things. We must keep our minds protected, because the devil could take advantage of those vulnerable ones.

Today's Prayer for Healings for Baby Bayleigh Rife.

Today's Prayer for Healings for Baby Bayleigh Rife.
I strongly believe in miracles and the power of prayers. I got an Email from my dear friend, Shirley, a grandmother of a newborn, baby Bayleigh Rife from Missouri, USA, who is in desperately need of prayers. This baby, Shirley's granddaughter is struggling for her life at the Mercy Hospital in Missouri at this point.
From my corner of the world, I kneel down in prayers to our dear Lord Jesus, uplifting baby Bayleigh Madyson Rife to God's Almighty Healing Hands.
Jesus said that when two or more are gathered together in His name, He will be among them to help with their requests in prayers.
Dear Heavenly Father and Lord,
You are the rock of salvation, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and our precious Redeemer. We all love You and need You, Lord!! We can't really make it on our own. Our heavy loads, daily storms of life, ordeals, trials and tribulations, the unbearable pain, sores, sorrows, burdens and all kind of life's blows, we cannot carry them alone on our shoulders without You, sweet Lord and Father. We all come here before You today, as Your humble servants, to find a quiet moment in solitude with You, Lord to pray for a newborn baby Bayleigh Rife's healings and complete recovery. You have already known what baby Bayleigh's heart holds, and what she needs in all circumstances before we do.
You are the vine, the source of our existence, a Mighty Healer, the Greatest Physician, and You can perform miracles at one single touch with Your unconditional love full of grace, if that is Your will, Father. Please, embrace baby Bayleigh into Your loving arms and heal her, if that is Your will, sweet Jesus. Please, be with her dear family, mom, daddy and grandmom at all times, bring them strength and comfort for they need You more than ever. Please, continue to reveal Your mighty care for Your children, and the power of Your love through their vessels. We love You and praise You forever, dear Lord Jesus. We all surrender ourselves under Your feet, Heavenly Father.
Thank you, sweet Jesus, for listening to our prayers and for another brand new day in Your world!! In Jesus' most powerful and Holy Name, we pray. AMEN.
In God's Garden,
STARRY.

I AM A CHRISTIAN.

I AM A CHRISTIAN.
When I say,..."I am a Christian," I am whispering that, I was lost. Now, I am found and forgiven by the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior. So in other words, I was lost, but I prayed for forgiveness with a humble heart, and the Lord set me free from my sins. Good News: The Lord has a plan for our lives, and it is freedom in Him.
I believe that God speaks to our hearts, as you listen to Him. Seek, and you'll find Him. Sometimes, it requires us to pray -the way to communicate with God- and to read His words of wisdom in the Holy Bible. I am excited about learning more of this wonderful experience that I have discovered within my inner self: a marvelous world of poetry, stories and inspirational reflections that, I truly enjoy sharing with others. I believe that God uses instruments to communicate with people in so many different ways. So open your heart for Jesus, slow down and listen or read inspirational messages that are coming to you. The Lord may knock at the door of your heart. Then, open up and let Jesus come into your life. You may be surprised at what the Lord has to say to you.
..."Brothers and Sisters, fill your minds with whatever is good and true, whatever is pure, whatever is noble and right, whatever is lovely, whatever is honorable and admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things. Put them into practice, and our Heavenly Father, God -who gives us peace- will be with you." (Philippians 4: 8)
When I grew older, I realized how important that Bible Verse would be to me. We must train our minds to think upon these positive and peaceful things. God has given us the keys to have a peaceful mind, but we have to be willing to obey it. We must do all we could to protect our minds from destructive habits or evil inputs. We must keep our minds protected, because they could really turn into a battlefield; and the devil could work and take advantage of those vulnerable ones.
One area of refocusing our minds is in the area of our emotions. At times, our minds could become bombarded with anger, fear, frustration, depression or hopelessness. You see, as long as we live in an imperfect world, we shall be faced with these challenges. However, in those dreadful moments of self-doubts, we must decide and focus our attention in what we want to become, either good or bad or nothing at all. We should pray to the Lord for His help at that point. We don't have to stay and dwell on bad state of minds that hurt us. We should indeed, allow ourselves to change for the better and for our own goodness. We are free to choose from good or wrong with a genuine goodwill. Christ only shows us the right way to go in our lives.
The Bible tells us words of wisdom about these reflections:
"A LIVING HOPE." (Peter 1: 3-7, 12)
"Let us give thanks to God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!! Because of His great mercy, He gave us new life by raising Jesus Christ from death. This fills us with a living hope, and so we look forward to possessing the rich blessings that God keeps for His people. He keeps them for you in Heaven, where they cannot decay or spoil or fade away. They are for you, who through faith are kept safe by God's power for the salvation which is ready to be revealed at the end of time. Be glad about this, even though it may now be necessary for you to be sad for a while because of the many kinds of trials you suffer. Their purpose is to prove that your faith is genuine. Even gold, which can be destroyed, is tested, so that it may endure. Then, you will receive praise and glory and honor on the Day when Jesus Christ is revealed."..."God revealed to these prophets that their work was not for their own benefit, but for yours, as they spoke about those things which you have now heard from the messengers who announced the Good News by the power of the Holy Spirit sent from Heaven."
In other words, we should allow ourselves to change for the better. You see, no matter what we do, we cannot change the number of hours that are gone in the day. We are unable to stop the time from going. Yet, you have a great impact and power over what goes into those hours, and what comes out from them. So, fill the hours with positive purposes, and the passing of time will work in your favour. Fill your day with meaning, with creativity, with goodness, joy and love; and each day will leave behind lasting values for your own world. Align your efforts more closely with your true purpose, and you'll find that those efforts quickly become much more effective.
Choose to put more meaning in each moment in your life, and you'll find a sense of fulfillment in your heart. Begin to fill the world with your own unique beauty, store your awards and go beyond the limits of time. Therefore, your own world will be filled with meaningful and positive actions. Moreover, when conditions change for the worse, there is no need to despair or give up, for you have the ability to find a new starting point, from which you can raise yourself to higher levels of achievement. There is always a way to get where you have chosen to go. Each challenge gives you new ways to add value to your dream.
Let us become an example of life for others to follow in the same path of a righteous Christian life!! Peace be with you, and God bless you all.

THE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT, PRAISE & PRAYERS.

THE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT, PRAISE & PRAYERS.

We know that the fruits of the spirit -our inner wealth- are:

Hope, kindness, love, peace, humility, patience, tolerance, compassion, gratefulness, gratitude, wisdom, joy, meekness (a humble heart), the gift of giving, and so on... We also know that the qualities of the character -our inner wealth- are: Honesty, respect, responsibility, commitment, loyalty, trustworthiness, ethics, unselfishness, hardworking, cleanliness, self-assurance, control of oneself, and so on...

Are we being good fruits for our dear Lord today??...

Are the qualities of our character blend well with the fruits of the spirit?? Ask yourself that question!!... Christian lives should be filled with good deeds.

"We shall know them by their fruits." Jesus Christ said in this Bible Verse. (Matthew 7:16)

Let us now, self-examine our own conscious within our inner self and see if the fruits of the spirit blend well with the qualities of the character. So, if the answer is yes, we are in balance with our own self and with the principles of a Christian life. Trust God in all circumstances, for He is so good all the time. I believe that God is in control, and He has a plan in our lives. Count your blessings one by one, not your troubles. Find joy and peace in your heart that will make you grow stronger. Strength and peace come first from within the spirit.

It is so important to consider the way you carry yourself at your best, and project your own image to others. So, this is the way how people may see your worth, as a whole person. Be nice with others, treat them the way you would like to be treated in return, and show the very best of you. The image you project from the outside, it will usually reflect your image from inside your heart, the real you and who you are. Achievement is the goal to pursue for a successful life.

Talk to the Lord in prayers on daily basis, which is the best communication with the Lord, confess to Him what is wrong with you that may offend Him, ask Him for forgiveness of your sins, ask for reconciliation with the Lord, which is so important, and promise to correct the wrong doings and make it better for the next day. Of course, reading your Bible on daily basis will provide you with comfort for your soul and food for thoughts in one hand, and it will certainly keep the devil away on the other hand. So, in this way, the slow process of learning in our lifetime will make us a bit more perfect each day to the eyes of our dear Lord.

Let us become an example of life for others to follow in the same path of a righteous Christian life!!... Let us pray!!...

Dear Lord,

Thank You for this brand new day that You are giving to us, for being with us this day and for the many blessings You grant to us!! We are sorry, sweet Lord, that we have said, thought or done things that were not pleasing You. We ask You for forgiveness. Grant us Lord, Your strength and peace that pass all understanding, and only You and You alone can give. Give us healings, where there is mental or physical illness. Give us a happy heart to show others our inner wealth. Inside our hearts, it is only You, Lord, shining through like a glowing beam over a colorful rainbow. Please, dear Lord Jesus, be with us in all circumstances, protect us also from evil doers. We love You and need You, Almighty Heavenly Father. We are nothing without You, but dust in the wind. The Glory is all Yours. We trust You and believe in You, dear Lord Jesus Christ. You are our Savior, our fortress and our rock of salvation. Please, show us the way with the light of the Holy Spirit. Lord, give us a joyful heart, where there is hurting somehow. Grant us Your unconditional love, touch our hearts with Your loving arms and lead us into Eternity, sweet Lord, if that is Your Will. God's Will be done in all circumstances. Your Heavenly love will embrace us until the end of time, as You promise. Lord, make us an instrument of Your peace. As we now, come to You with quiet personal prayers, we ask that You will listen to our needs. Thank You, Lord, for being with us at all times!! In Jesus' most precious and Holy Name, we pray. AMEN.

We are all mortal beings, and we should prepare ourselves to meet with our Heavenly Father and our dear Lord, Jesus one day, when He will call us to our final home in Heaven. Have you ever thought about this??...So, think about it now!!... I'll share a very inspirational Bible verse today. PSALM 23.

"THE LORD IS OUR SHEPHERD." The Lord is my shepherd; I have everything I need. He lets me rest in fields of green pastures and leads me to quiet pools of fresh water. He gives me new strength. He guides me in the right paths, as He has promised. Even if I go through the deepest darkness, I shall not be afraid, Lord, for You are with me. Your shepherd's rod and staff protect me. You prepare a banquet for me, where all my enemies can see me; You welcome me as a honored guest and fill my cup to the brim. I know that Your goodness and love will be with me all my life; and Your house will be my home as long as I live."

"THE NEXT DAY..."

"THE NEXT DAY..."

The sun in the early Spring came out again like a glowing candle, a gorgeous star sparkling in the distant horizon.
This poet, who is presently living abroad, envisioned once as if she would be watching her New York family like a satellite wrenched from its orbit, parting, or drifting away; like a feeble seed loosened from its parent stem...
At last, the day turned out to become a joyful one, when the poet´s family decided to pick up the phone and make an overseas call to say:
"I love you!!"
"Happy Birthday, dear mom!!"
"Happy Birthday, dear grandma!!"
Thanks God, my dear family showed some love!!...
These simple words seem so easy to say, yet they should infer a meaningful content.

"A DAY IN MY LIFE..."

"A DAY IN MY LIFE..."

When I woke up early this morning, my four cats were by my side as usual as my only company in my room. I walked to the kitchen to fix my light breakfast, which would be a cup of tea with a couple of cookies with homemade jelly.
At that moment, I felt a strong energy glowing by my left side, and when I turned around to glance at it, I saw the whole presence of my dear mother. She held my left arm, gave me a big hug, and said:
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MY DEAR DAUGHTER!!"
Then, my mother´s image vanished into thin air. In fact, she was the only one who wished me happy birthday, because no one else did.
My mother came straight from Heaven to remind me that she would always care for me no matter what. I miss my dear mother so dearly!! My birthday is a lonely day without her, just a day in my life, or another day, or another blow...

A Prayer a Day keeps the devil away...

A Prayer a Day keeps the devil away...

Good Morning, My Dear Readers!!

What a beautiful fresh new start God has given to us in this new day each time we wake up in the morning. We begin another journey in our lives again, so we may feel brand new. This morning, I have found so many new Online friends who follow my blogs, so that I may feel more encouraged to keep on writing my inner thoughts. Praise the Lord!! You see, I often say a prayer when I get up, and another one when I go to sleep, and also prayers in between. At times of despair, I say a prayer; at times of joy, I say a prayer; when something is coming good on my way, I also say a thankful prayer to our dear Lord. When things are going wrong, I also say a prayer for help. I have been surrounded by all kind of enemies and struggled so much seeking for justice and truth. I have gone through trials and tribulations throughout my lifetime, yet my dear Lord never left my side for He was next to me holding me tight, just in case I fall down or get smashed into million pieces.
I never felt lonely although I was alone, for Jesus was with me even among evil foes at all times.
Feel the presence of the Lord next to you each day, talk to Him in prayers, and have a meaningful conversation with God. I am sure, you will begin to feel much better...
Today, I would like to include Psalm 35 of The Scriptures to illustrate my words.
A Prayer for Help. (Psalm 35 of The Bible.)
"Oppose those who oppose me, Lord, and fight those who fight me! Take your shield and armour and come to my rescue. Lift up your spear and your axe against those who pursue me. Promise that You will save me. May those who try to kill me be defeated and disgrace! May those who plot against me be turned back and confused! May they be like straw blown by the wind as the angel of the Lord pursues them! May their path be dark and slippery while the angel of the Lord strikes them down!
Without any reason they laid a trap for me and dug a deep hole to catch me. But destruction will catch them before they know it; they will be caught in their own trap and fall to their destruction! Then I will be glad because of the Lord; I will be happy because He saved me. With all my heart I will say to the Lord, "There is no one like You. You protect the weak from the strong, the poor from the oppressor."
Evil people testify against me and accuse me of crimes I know nothing about. They pay me back evil for good, and I sink in despair. But when they were sick, I dressed in mourning; I deprived myself of food; I prayed with my head bowed low, as I would pray for a friend or a brother. I went about bent over in mourning, as one who mourns for his mother. But when I was in trouble, they were all glad and gathered round to mock me; strangers beat me and kept striking me, like those who would mock a cripple, they glared at me with hate.
How much longer, Lord, will You just look on? Rescue me from their attacks; save my life from these lions! Then I will thank You in the assembly of Your people; I will praise You before them all. Lord, don´t let my enemies, those liars, gloat over my defeat. Don´t let those who hate me for no reason smirk with delight over my sorrow.
They do not speak in a friendly way; instead they invent all kinds of lies about peace-loving people. They accuse me, shouting, "We saw what you did!" But You, Oh Lord, have seen this. So don´t be silent, Lord; don´t keep Yourself far away! Rouse Yourself, Oh Lord, and defend me; rise up, my God, and plead my cause.
You are righteous, Oh Lord, so declare me innocent; don´t let my enemies gloat over me. Don´t let them say to themselves, "We are rid of him/her! That´s just what we wanted!"
May those who gloat over my suffering be completely defeated and confused; may those who claim to be better than I am be covered with shame and disgrace. May those who want to see me acquitted, shout for joy and say again and again, "How great is the Lord! He is pleased with the success of His servant."
Then I will proclaim Your righteousness, and I will praise You all day long."
These are the words of the Lord. Praise the Lord!!
In Jesus´Name, I pray. AMEN.

"Story of the Fire & Psalm 23."

"Story of the Fire & Psalm 23."
We live in a tower apartment building on the top floor overviewing the city lights.
The other week, I was composing a new poem in the computer room next to our dear furry friends, the cats. I had the PC screen, the speakers turned on and tuned to one of my favourite Radio Stations with Gospel music. Everything seemed peacefully until I smelt something burning.
I rushed to the living room and noticed a heavy cloud engulfing all corners. Then, I dashed off to the kitchen and shuddered in panic when I saw the dazzle of fire coming out of the electrical power source on the wall. I managed to open all windows, doors and called out for help.
I said, "Fire!! Help, please!!"
Some good neighbors came out straight away from their dwellings and helped us out. They called the Superintendant of the building, the Police and Fire Department. Some of them arrived all at once extinguishing the savage fire. They asked me questions about the event, and thanked me for being a good neighbor and a brave woman to have stayed with my animals at all times protecting them. They said that some folks would have only cared for themselves and might have left out the place on fire trying to save their personal lives. I said, "It would be selfish not to help your loved ones or others in need. If you love somebody, you should care for your beloved ones. I will never leave my loved ones behind. That is for sure."
I must admit that our dear Lord, Jesus Christ was with us at all times. He embraced me with His loving arms at the time I was scared in tears. He showed me the way to safety.
Thanks God nothing bad happened to us, and we continued with our daily lives in peace.
Praise the Lord!!
Thank you for reading this inspiring story!! I hope it helps you finding the way.
Starry.
Now, I shall include the Psalm 23 of the Bible that inspires me in times of troubles..
THE LORD, OUR SHEPHERD.
"The Lord is my shepherd;
I have everything I need.
He lets me rest in fields of green pasture and leads me to quiet pools of fresh water. He gives me new strength. He guides me in the right paths, as he has promised. Even if I go through the deepest darkness, I will not be afraid, Lord, for you are with me. Your shepherd´s rod and staff protect me.
You prepare a banquet for me, where all my enemies can see me; you welcome me as an honoured guest and fill my cup to the brim.
I know that your goodness and love will be with me all my life; and your house will be my home as long as I live."
These are the words of the Lord. AMEN.

TODAY´S PRAYER.

TODAY´S PRAYER.

May today there be peace within you.
May you trust God that you are
Exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities
That are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received,
And pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing that you are a child of God.
Let His presence settle into your bones,
And allow your soul the freedom to sing,
To dance, and to bask in the Son.
He is there for each and everyone of you.
In Jesus´Name, we pray. AMEN.

"God´s plan is to bring all creation together."

"God´s plan is to bring all creation together."

Paul´s Letter to the Ephesians is concerned first of all with "God´s plan is to bring all creation together, everything in heaven and on earth, with Christ as head." It is also an appeal to God´s people to live out the meaning of this great plan for the unity of the human race through oneness with Jesus Christ.
In the first part of Ephesians the writer develops the theme of unity by speaking of the way in which God the Father has chosen his people, how they are forgiven and set free from their sins through Jesus Christ the Son, and how God´s great promise is guaranteed by the Holy Spirit. In the second part he appeals to the readers to live in such a way that their oneness in Christ may become real in their life together.
Several figures of speech are used to show the oneness of God´s people in union with Christ: the Church is like a body, with Christ as the head; or like a building, with Christ as the cornerstone; or like a wife, with Christ as the husband. This letter rises to great hights of expression as the writer is moved by the thought of God´s grace in Christ. Everything is seen in the light of Christ´s love, sacrifice, forgiveness, grace, and purity.
How do we come from death into life, if we are all mortal beings??
The Bible tells us...
"From Death to Life." (Ephesians 2: 1-10)
"In the past you were spiritually dead because of your disobedience and sins. At that time you followed the world´s evil way; you obeyed the ruler of the spiritual powers in space, the spirit who now controls the people who disobey God. Actually all of us were like them and lived according to our natural desires, doing whatever suited the wishes of our own bodies and minds. In our natural condition we, like everyone else, were destined to suffer God´s anger.
But God´s mercy is so abundant, and his love for us is so great, that while we were spiritually dead in our disobedience he brought us to life with Christ. It is by God´s grace that you have been saved. In our union with Christ Jesus he raised us up with him to rule with him in the heavenly world. He did this to demonstrate for all time to come the extraordinary greatness of his grace in the love he showed us in Christ Jesus.
For it is by God´s grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God´s gift, so that no one can boast about it. God has made us what we are, and in our union with Christ Jesus he has created us for a life of good deeds, which he has already prepared for us to do."
Praise the Lord!!
Thanks for taking your precious time to visit and read!!
God bless each and everyone of you!!

"SPIRITUAL WEALTH."

"SPIRITUAL WEALTH."

Life is not a bed of roses, nor a bowl of cherries. At times, it takes a brave heart in order to face the hard blows that one has to endure, for life is not easy if one has to roam out there looking for a place to stay and something to eat...
After my separation from my child´s father in New York, I had no other choice but to return to my mother´s home in order to provide the best care for my little daughter´s sake. Unfortunately shortly after my arrival, my mom passed away.
I indeed, spent many years abroad teaching American English to foreign learners after my dear mom departure from this world into Eternity. I had to encounter raw experiences trying to survive in the asphalt jungle, so that I had been exposed to seeing unpleasant things in my surrounding as an eyewitness.
Being a long-suffering patient of asthma and allergy, a victim of mental cruelty and a savage, appalling domestic violence with a history of abuse, and facing the fact of becoming a single parent in New York at a young age, I had to struggle to make ends meet and provide the best care for my only child. I did my best for my beloved ones, I must admit. My dear family left all their belongings and properties to me making our lives a little easier at last.
Then, immortal sores and memories have been left alive in my heart.
My parents and aunts helped me with the upbringing of my only child. So when they grew into an old age, I took care of my dear father and aunts in their illness and elderly years until the Lord called them to His Heavenly final home.
At times, I saw spiritually dead people bragging about their high morals, but they had done evil deeds for real, instead of proving their honest hearts with good examples of trustworthy Christian lives. We should become the perfect role model to follow with our example of living.
Paul´s Prayer. (Ephesians 1: 15-23)
"For this reason, ever since I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God´s people, I have not stopped giving thanks to God for you.
I remember you in my prayers and ask God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, to give you the Spirit who will make you wise and reveal God to you, so that you will know him. I ask that your minds may be opened to see his light, so that you will know what is the hope to which he has called you, how rich are the wonderful blessings he promises his people, and how very great is his power at work in us who believe. The power working in us is the same as the mighty strength which he used when he raised Christ from death and seated him at his right side in the heavenly world. Christ rules there above all heavenly rulers, authorities, powers, and lords; he has a title superior to all titles of authority in this world and in the next. God put all things under Christ´s feet and gave him to the Church as supreme Lord over all things. The Church is Christ´s body, the completion of him who himself completes all things everywhere."

God bless!!

"Spiritual Wealth and Blessings in Christ."

"Spiritual Wealth and Spiritual Blessings in Christ."

As I spent many years abroad teaching English to foreign learners after my dear mom departured from this world into Eternity, I had to encounter raw experiences trying to survive in the asphalt jungle. The devil´s darts and arrows crossed my feeble heart, but my strong will set me free. The Lord always stood by me pulling me up from the deepest well.
My dear parents helped with my upbringing, so I had commitments with them when they needed me the most. So, I took care of my dear father and aunts in their illness and elderly years until the Lord called them to His Heavenly Home.
I have seen spiritually dead people because of their disobedience and sins bragging about their questionable morals, but they follow only the world´s evil ways and deeds instead of proving their honest hearts for real with good examples of trustworthy Christian lives. We should be a role model to follow with our example of living. But God´s mercy is so abundant, and love for us is so great, that while we were spiritually dead in our disobedience, God brought us to life with spiritual wealth that is given to us by the strength of God´s plan for our lives in this world that we must follow. I trust my Lord and Savior, and I hear His words speaking to my heart...
"Spiritual Blessings in Christ." (Ephesians 1: 3-14)
"Let us give thanks to God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!! For in our union with Christ he has blessed us by giving us every spiritual blessing in the heavenly world. Even before the world was made, God had already chosen us to be His through our union with Christ, so that we would be holy and without fault before him.
Because of his love God had already decided that through Jesus Christ he would make us his sons and daughters, this was his pleasure and purpose. Let us praise God for his glorious grace, for the free gift he gave us in his dear Son!! For by the blood of Christ we are set free, that is, our sins are forgiven. How great is the grace of God, which he gave to us in such large measure!! In all his wisdom and insight God did what he had purposed, and made known to us the secret plan he had already decided to complete by means of Christ. This plan, which God will complete when the time is right, is to bring all creation together, everything in heaven and on earth, with Christ as head. All things are done according to God´s plan and decision; and God chose us to be his own people in union with based on what he had decided from the very beginning. Let us, then, who were the first hope in Christ, praise God´s glory!!
And you also became God´s people when you heard the true message, the Good News that brought you salvation. You believed in Christ, and God put his stamp of ownership on you by giving you the Holy Spirit he had promised. The Spirit is the guarantee that we shall receive what God has promised his people, and this assures us that God will give complete freedom to those who are his. Let us praise His glory!!"

United we stand as the whole family of God in union and in victory, along with the power of our faith as Christian believers. United together, we can do all things.
Our dreams would take wings and soar. Our family together will make the power to win.
God is our Father in Heaven, and we are His children in the family of God in the brotherhood of mankind.
What can parents do to promote love, compassion, respect, cooperation and understanding in their relationship with their children??...
By focusing in our children´s needs, we stay connected to them in a way that serves a good life and trust, and builds a great connection with them.
It´ll produce a strong desire in our children to want to run to us in their times of need, rather than running away from us.
Let´s all children of God gather and listen to our Father, God, our Lord and Savior!!
We are all safe and love under His loving arms after all.
The value of our family and the power of togetherness are the key for success.
The Gospel according to Luke presents Jesus as the promised Savior of the whole human race. Luke records that Jesus was called by the Spirit of the Lord to "bring good news to the poor."
Throughout the Gospel great emphasis is placed on prayer, the Holy Spirit, the role of women in the ministry of Jesus, and God´s forgiveness of sins.
(Luke 11: 17, 23, 27-28) But Jesus knew what the people were thinking, so he said to them, "Any country that divides itself into groups which fight each other will not last very long; a family divided against itself falls apart." "Anyone who is not for me is really against me."
True Happiness. When Jesus had said this, a woman spoke up from the crowd and said to him, "How happy is the woman who bore you and nursed you!!" But Jesus answered, "Rather, how happy are those who hear the word of God and obey it!!"
(Galatians 6: 10) So then, as often as we have the chance, we should do good to everyone, and especially to those who belong to "our family in the faith."
Once again, these words in the Scriptures speak volumes about the value of our family and the power of togetherness, which are the key for success.
Today´s messages focus in our family union, and the strong love to one another.
Let´s stay together -Christian believers- forevermore!!
(((((HAPPY EASTER TO ONE and ALL,
THE FAMILY OF CHRIST!!)))))
BEST REGARDS,

STARRY DAWN.

"GRATEFULNESS, A GIFT OF INNER VALUE."

"GRATEFULNESS, A GIFT OF INNER VALUE."
Gratitude -as a gift from the heart- is an inner value.
I tell you a tale...
According to a legend, a young man while roaming the desert came across a spring of delicious crystal-clear water. The water was so sweet he filled his leather canteen, so he could bring some water back to a tribal elder who had been his teacher. After a four-day journey, he presented the water to the old man who was thirsty and took a deep drink, smiled warmly and thanked his student lavishly for the sweet water. The young man returned to his village with a happy heart.
Later, the teacher let another student taste the water. He spat it out, saying it was awful. The water apparently had become stale because of staying too long in the old leather container. The student challenged his teacher: "Master, the water was foul. Why did you pretend to like it?"
The teacher replied, "You only tasted the water. I tasted the gift. The water was simply the container for an act of loving-kindness, and nothing could be sweeter than an act of kindness. And you should be grateful for this gift..."
I think, we understand this lesson best when we receive innocent gifts of love from young children. Whether it´s a single flower, a small thing, a ceramic tray or a gold bracelet, the natural and proper response is appreciation and expressed thankfulness, because we just love the idea within the gift itself.
GRATITUDE doesn´t always come naturally. Unfortunately, most children and many adults value only the thing given rather than the feeling embodied in it.
We should remind ourselves and teach our children about the beauty and purity of feelings and expressions of GRATITUDE.
After all, gifts from the heart are really gifts of the heart. The success of love is in the loving process. Of course, it is natural in love to want the best for the other person, but whether it turns out that way or not- will not determine the value of what we have loved.
As humans, we often forget the inner value of GRATEFULNESS.
To be GRATEFUL is one of the most precious gifts that comes from one´s heart. Our dear Lord, Jesus gave the most valuable and precious gift to the world, for He loved us so much.
He gave Himself as a living sacrifice to pay the penalty for our sins. Jesus showed no selfishness in doing that, but only His loving self-giving to the world.
We, His children -in return- should show the most sincere GRATITUDE to our dear Lord, Jesus for His precious gift of self to us.
EASTER IS SOON COMING UP, SO WE WOULD LIKE TO SAY THIS PRAYER...
Let us pray,
Dear Lord Jesus,
We love you so much!! Thank You for dying on the Cross for our sins, for Your many blessings that touch our lives on daily basis, and for Your Heavenly and healing energy of Your love!! God bless you all!!
In Jesus´most Holy Name, we pray. AMEN.

The Peace of God be with each of you in this Easter Season and forevermore.

HAPPY EASTER TO ONE AND ALL!!

"LET THEM FLY!!"

"LET THEM FLY!!"

The Baptism of Jesus. (Matthew 3: 13-17)
"At that time Jesus arrived from Galilee and came to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. But John tried to make him change his mind. "I ought to be baptized by you," John said, "and yet you have come to me!"
But Jesus answered him, "Let it be so for now. For in this way we shall do all that God requires." So John agreed. As soon as Jesus was baptized, he came up out of the water. Then Heaven was opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God coming down like a dove and alighting on him. Then a voice said from Heaven, "This is my own dear Son, with whom I am pleased."
Although Jesus had not yet begun His ministry, we know that He was considered to be "The Teacher" to his His disciples. Throughout his subsequent ministry He became known as a healer, a lover of children, and even a Rabbi, which means "Master" to some. Jesus became everything to His followers, and when He was taken away from them, imprisoned, and then finally crucified, it was a crushing blow to their faith.
Throughout studies in the Parenting field, it has been found to learn how to allow or permit your children to "grow-up." I mean, we´re not Jesus. But there are many mothers that just do about everything for their children. Taking the lesson from those earlier days with the disciples being so crushed by the loss of someone so important in their lives,...don´t you think it behooves us -as parents- to take a step back and allow or permit our children to grow up a little while we´re still here??...
One of my favorite illustration with regards to allowing our children to grow up is a study I did of eagles. I tell you the story... When baby eagles get to a certain age, the parent eagles know that it is time to give their little ones a nudge straight down. You see, the eagle´s nest is usually lodged in an extremely high area, and when it comes time for Eagle Jr. to leave the nest, the mama eagle pushes her baby eagle out of the nest. It´s a natural instinct to do so. The eagle´s predatory hunting skills rely almost solely on their flying power. If they couldn´t fly, they couldn´t eat, and they would die. So mama eagle shoves them one by one out of the nest, and daddy eagle follows them as they fall. They don´t just take off flying, so daddy eagle gently flies beneath them and lifts them a bit higher, then letting them go again. The process repeats several times until the baby eagle can fly on his own.
As humans, we don´t have that natural instinct to push our children out of the nest, and let them fall. Often, we can lift them up and help them soar. So we tend to help and overprotect them, never letting them realize their full potential. In effect, we retard their natural given potential for growth by our Parenting nature.
Well, what does this have to do with today´s text? Everything! As much as God likes us to come to Him and tell Him how much we love Him, and how much we need Him in our lives.
Have you ever stopped thinking what He needs?...
Every day God tries to nudge us from the nest, our comfort zone, and teach us to fly. Every day we hold on for dear life to what we know is "safe" and what we know as "the way we think it should be". It is our opinion, and it´s not entirely our fault, since we have been spiritually parented in the same way that we were naturally parented, believing that we are to "let God do for us". He is our Provider, our Comforter, our Hope, but what are we to Him?
What does He need?...
I am sure that God never intended for us to be a collection of babies sitting somewhere on the shelf waiting to be auctioned off at the highest bid. He doesn´t want a group of people who "look pretty", but have never been tried or touched by the infirmities of the world around us. He is looking for some people who when nudged will say,
"Here am I Lord. Send me to fulfill Your plan for me."
John had been given a ministry to perform in the Name of Jesus Christ, the Messiah. The article of baptism is one of the greatest of all articles of faith. It is the symbolism of the death and resurrection of Christ and our association with it.
Here we have Jesus coming to John to be Baptized. He had no need of Baptism for He had nothing to repent of. Yet He associates Himself with what was to come by His submission to it. So He comes to him who was called to Baptize in the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He surrendered himself to the ministry for which John had been called; it might be fulfilled that Jesus, publicly would show in that moment, that He surrendered himself as a man to take on the element of death, submission into the water; the coming up out of the water, being his resurrection and ascension; and the dove ascending upon Him being the promise of the Comforter, God´s Holy Spirit.
Jesus has "called us all" to a brotherhood of mankind to help each other, to minister to one another. One of the greatest healing services I´ve had the fortune to be a part of, it was the body of the Church, meeting at the altar -praying for one another, just a group of believers ministering to one another in the Spirit of love and fellowship.
Now friend, that is what He needs, and that´s what He wants.
He is calling you today. Can you hear Him??...

Let us pray,
Father, we thank You for those men and women around the world who rise up amidst the political injustices worldwide. Oh that we would find more Christians who would be nudged from their "nesting in the pew, and step forward and become a true believer." One who loves and gives of themselves to their own fellowship of believers. Lord, we will never flow in the Spirit and soar like an eagle until we put faith to work. Lord, nudge us loose from our perches of complacency today and teach us how to not just fly, but soar above the clouds of despondency and despair that seems to plague every corner of our planet Earth.
We ask these things in the Name of Jesus. AMEN.

"SPIRITUAL FOOD."

"SPIRITUAL FOOD."

Accelerate your spiritual growth!!...
The Scripture says, "Human beings cannot live on bread alone, but need every word that God speaks." (Matthew 4: 4)
Spiritual food is as necessary for the soul as material food is for the body.
People may live within their material shell in the outside. But, they could be spiritually dead in the inside. I believe that the fruits of the spirit keep us alive in our hearts!!
We all need the boost of love; true love that is the burning fuel which keeps us going and functioning well as a whole being. Love is the spiritual supporter, the booster rocket that propels and ignites the energy of our whole lives.
Love God above all, and love one another in peace. Peace and the superpower of love are two essential virtues that the world desperately need for the energy of surviving. Then, it will be sunrise again.
What it saves you is your submission to the belief that Jesus is the son of God who died, and was buried, and rose again that sets you free. Paul puts it this way in Philippians 3...
"The True Righteousness."
"In conclusion, my brothers and sisters, be joyful in your union with the Lord. Watch out for those who do evil things.
I reckon everything as complete loss for the sake of what is so much more valuable, the knowledge of Christ Jesus, my Lord.
I now have the righteousness that is given through faith in Christ, the righteousness that comes from God and is based on faith. All I want is to know Christ and to experience the power of His resurrection, to share in His sufferings and become like Him in His death, in the hope that I myself will be raised from death to life."
Let us pray,
Thank you, dear Lord for giving me the opportunity to find You as my Lord and Savior, for giving me food for my body and food for my spirit, for loving me as Your child and for raising me from death into life. In Jesus´Name, I pray. AMEN.

"Marriage and Friendship."

"Marriage and Friendship."

Successful marriage is the most effective form of social support. It relieves the effects of stress, and leads to better mental and physical health.
While many studies have shown the great importance of "social support", it is still not clear exactly what this means. Most likely it consists of being a sympathetic listener or offering helpful advice; providing emotional support and social acceptance; giving actual help or financial help; and simply doing ordinary things together, like eating, drinking, watching TV and so on.
Husbands seem to benefit much more from marriage than wives do. Married women are in better physical and mental health, and are happier than single women, but these effects are nearly twice as great for men. Various explanations have been considered, but the most plausible is that wives provide more social support than husbands. Perhaps men need it more? They are more exposed to stresses at work, and have worse health, and die earlier than women.
In addition, when women get married, their way of life is subject to much greater change and this often leads to boring and isolated work in the home for which they are ill-prepared. Despite the benefits of marriage, women find it stressful, and are in better shape if they also have jobs; their earnings and status increase their power in the home, and they may also get social support at work.
More women than men emphasized confidentiality and trust; more men than women emphasized pleasure in a friend´s company, going out with a friend and having a friend in one´s home. This is not surprising. Given the traditional differences in sex roles, women are supposed to be more expressive than men, and working class men, in particular, have often been described as spending their leisure time outside the home, in the company of other men. And since an Englishman´s home is supposed to be his castle, it is natural that, apart from relatives, only close friends are allowed or welcomed into it.
More surprising is that as many men as women defined a close friend as someone they can call on for help. It may be that with a nuclear family structure and quite a high level of physical and social mobility, friends are now substitutes for relatives of both sexes. Among the middle-aged men and women in this study, the lack of contact with relatives, even those who lived nearby, was notable, suggesting that friends and relatives are indeed interchangeable.

HAPPY VALENTINE´S DAY!! Inspirational Reflection.

HAPPY VALENTINE´S DAY!!

I truly want to make the very best of my life. I appreciate and celebrate life. Love is the best feeling in our hearts, and the best way to show how much we care for others. Love God above all, love your family, love your parents and your grandparents, love your friends, love your wife or husband, love your children, your grandchildren, love your sweetheart, love yourself, your neighbors, love the world, love the wonder of God´s creations, love the animals, love your natural environment and so on. Become a true lover of the Universe, and show with your actions how much you care!!... This is my message of love to all readers on Valentine´s Day. This day, I´ll include wonderful inspirational reflections to ponder.

I recall one of my favourite verses in the Holy Bible, the Psalm 23: "The Lord is our Shepherd." "The Lord is my shepherd; I have everything I need. He lets me rest in fields of green grass and leads me to quiet pools of fresh water. He gives me new strength. He guides me in the right paths, as He promised. Even if I go through the deepest darkness, I shall not be afraid, Lord, for You are with me. Your shepherd´s rod and staff protect me. You prepare a banquet for me, where all my enemies can see me; You welcome me as an honoured guest and fill my cup to the brim. I know that Your goodness and love will be with me all my life; and Your house will be my home as long as I live."

Let us become an example of life for others to follow in the same path of a righteous Christian life. Let us pray celebrating life and love,... and HAPPY VALENTINE´S DAY!!

Dear Lord,

Thank You for this brand new day that You are giving to us, for being with us this day and for the many blessings You grant to us!! We are sorry, sweet Lord, that we have said, thought or done things that were not pleasing You. We ask for your forgiveness. Grant us Lord, Your love, strength and peace that pass all understanding, and only You and You alone can give. Give us healings, where there is mental or physical illness. Give us a happy heart to show others our inner wealth, inside our hearts, it is only You, Lord, shining through like a glowing beam over a colourful rainbow.

Please, dear Lord, be with us in all circumstances, protect us. We love You and need You, Almighty Heavenly Father. The Glory is all Yours. We trust You and believe in You, dear Lord Jesus Christ. You are our Savior, our fortress and our rock of salvation. Please, show us the way with the Light of the Holy Spirit. Lord, give us a joyfull heart, where there is hurting somehow. Grant us Your unconditional love, touch our hearts with Your loving arms and lead us into Eternity, sweet Lord, if that is Your will. God´s will be done. Your Heavenly love will embrace us until the end of time, as You promise. Lord, make us an instrument of Your peace. As we now, come to You with quiet personal prayers, we ask that You will listen to our needs. Thank You, Lord for being with us at all times!!

In the Holy Name of Jesus, I ask these things and pray. AMEN.

HAPPY VALENTINE´S DAY!!

"MESSAGE TO ALL READERS."

"MESSAGE TO ALL READERS."

I send a message to all readers from my self-confinement.
Like hedged with iron bars, plaster and stones, and plagued with a poignant grief of health issues, my feeble body is unable to scribble anything for a while.
You see, my limbs are swelling. Perhaps, hastening to rest in peace, while I gently pray in silence...
I apologize to you all.
Thank you in advance for reading my blogs and for your kind understanding!!
God bless!!
