"Brothers and sisters, fill your minds with whatever is good and true, whatever is pure, whatever is noble and right, whatever is lovely, whatever is honorable and admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things. Put them into practice, and God -who gives us peace- will be with you." (Philippians 4:8)

"Thanks for the Gift: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13)

We must train our minds to think upon these positive and peaceful things. We must keep our minds protected, because the devil could take advantage of those vulnerable ones.

CHRISTIANS IN ACTION.

CHRISTIANS IN ACTION.

I´ll include this day food for thoughts, and a tapestry of reflections and thoughts provoking Bible Verses.

Useful discipleship. "Each person should use whatever gift he/she has received to serve others, faithfully administering God´s grace in its various forms."
(1 Peter 4:10)
We come to a halt to see in our modern societies that only a Brotherhood of Christians together -as a whole body- could provide our little share of help to those in need, because we are instruments of God, and we follow God´s plan in this world. We should realize that we can´t make it alone, for we need God´s help to carry on with our lives.
If we could really see what is going on in this world, we´ll see so much poverty everywhere, so much decay, and we may not even notice it if we are too selfish taking time in thinking only in ourselves. Selfishness is so unfair, for we should have a generous heart that follows the light of God.
There are many sad sights in this world that one may encounter in our lifetime. The homeless people, the hungry ones are just a few examples to begin with. Although we rejoice to see many Christians in action giving the ones in need whatever they truly need best, food for the spirit such as love and hope. We all not only need food for our physical body, but also food for our inside spirit. Our body is like a material box in the outside that holds our inner spirit, our soul in the inside. The spirit is invisible to the eye, but it exists in forms such as feelings, thoughts and our inside world.
When I say Christians in Action I mean, the special gift or ability to serve others in need through God´s mighty power. I also mean that these precious gifts that have been given should be put in action. A gift is properly received when we gladly accept the abilities that God has given to us, and thank Him for them. These gifts range from preaching the words of the Lord and praying, to hospitality and helping the ones in need. Every gift is God´s provision for bringing His amazing grace to an aching world, a world in pain. Every disciple and follower of Jesus should find out which gifts they have been given, then give thanks for them and ask the Lord for the opportunities to use these gifts you have for His glory.
I encourage all Christians to use these given abilities for the better. They are not things that can be bought out in the market. They are life´s richest treasure, these little "heart gifts" that money can´t buy, or money cannot measure. God has indeed, an amazing plan for your life. Would you invite Him to come into your heart and take control of your life??...
I read "The Good News Bible." The Sermon on the Mount is called the reading that will follow this message. In Matthew Chapter 5, we could read about the Lord´s Teaching...
RICHES IN HEAVEN.
Jesus said, "Do not store up riches for yourselves here on Earth, where moths and rust destroy, and robbers break in and steal. Instead, store up riches for yourselves in Heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and robbers cannot break in and steal. For your heart will always be where your riches are." These are the words of the Lord. AMEN.

Let us pray...
Thank You, Almighty Heavenly Father and Lord, for this brand new day, for bringing us together again in this friendly Community of Christians. Let us show how much we love You and praise You, Lord. Let us show our generous heart and how much we love and care for each other. Dear Jesus, please take my anxiety and replace it with Your perfect peace. Please, forgive me of my sins and bring meaning and fulfillment into my life. I surrender my heart to You and ask that You take control of my life now. In Jesus´Name, we pray. AMEN.
